What is Your Story?

MANAGEMENT

The Management Team was responsible for:

  • budget and timeline management

  • main liaison between community partner about space, set up, event management, and logistical concerns

  • managing collection registration during the exhibit

  • managing collection return

MEDIA/MARKETING

The Media/Marketing Team was responsible for:

  • publicizing the exhibition to Hill and Duquesne communities as well as the city of Pittsburgh

  • working with Duquesne Public Affairs on press releases/posters

  • working with Duquesne History Department for social media/web presence

  • coming up with other creative ways to make the event of the semester

EDUCATION

The Education Team was responsible for:

  • designing and executing workshops to be held in Hill District schools that will get kids interested in art and museums

  • help to organize "kids section" of the exhibition space

COLLECTIONS

The Collections Team was responsible for:

  • identifying and contacting collectors in the Hill who can participate in the exhibition

  • designing and executing workshops to be held in the Hill

  • helping with object registration/return
